World
that must be avoided is a world-luxuries (hedonic life), as the Tribe of 'Ad in
the era of the prophet Hud. Currently there seems to be a mistake where there
is fear of treasure so rich people are scared. For fear of the rich, it works
only in moderation.
One
day the Prophet met a friend whose condition is very alarming. When asked, he
replied that this might happen because of prayer. The contains of pray is:
"O Allah, grant me the woes of the world and make the world's misery as a
hint that I will get happiness hereafter". At this the Prophet said to
show a better prayer as in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 201: "O Allah, grant us
good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of hell".
People of faith to make the world as a field for the hereafter. They seek to
reach the world with reference to divine values.
Some
literature mentions that one of the causes of lack of work ethic is a Muslim by
mistake looking at what the world is and what it hereafter. Both seemed to be
separated by black and white. This mistake contributed to errors in
derivatives, the attitude toward wealth, and attitudes toward work.******
