A
Muslim must necessarily earnest in the work by mobilizing the entire physical
ability, mind, and heart. This is to actualize himself as caliph who should
lead the world. Promise as the best race is not created by itself, but must be
achieved, chased and pursued. Earth was created for a drudge, while the man is
working on it. "He has created you from the earth (ground) and make you to
growers " (Huud: 61). In essence, only the working man was able to
humanize herself. Within Surat An-Najm: 39 mentioned that the success and
progress of this earth humans dependent on its business. Much more he works the
more he earned.
Work
hard in Islam is to work earnestly accompanied with resignation to God
Almighty. The work in question is working to exhaustion (Al Ghaasyiyah: 3).
"Verily, Allah Ta'ala happy to see his servant struggling (fatigue) in
finding halal sustenance". The Prophet prayed: "Allah! Give blessing
to my people, the work done in the morning ". Love of the Prophet to the
hard work demonstrated when he "kissed" the hands of Sa'd ibn
Mu'adh-collar workers. Just work to your world as if you live forever and work
for your akhirah as if you die tomorrow.
Prophet
said: "Allah loves every believer who works for his family and not like a
believer unemployment, both for the work world and the hereafter. Worship there
are ten, nine of them in earning a living (work), and only in the ritual
".
Islam
encourages his people to try to find the sustenance of life so that they become
good and enjoyable. Earth, sea and sky there to be used lawfully. As Allah says
in Surah An Naba: 10-11: "And We made the night as clothing. And We made the day for
livelihood ". Evening to rest and recharge during the day and devoted work
force. Aisha narrated that
the Prophet once said: "It's the most fun thing you yan enjoy is that it
comes from the results of your own hands, your children come from what you
produce". The Prophet also said: "Trying to get a lawful livelihood
is an obligation in addition to other tasks that have required".
When
asked whether the most good business? Apostle replied that a person with her
own business and all selling good ". Apostle equip it with saying
"Traders are trustworthy and true will be shared with the martyrs on the
Day of Resurrection" ******
